  Our sixth grade Culture of Readers has just started. We were able to share our group’s experiences so far by presenting a slide show. We presented what we have found and we were able to focus on how to tighten our community. We will attach our google presentation below. Our data that we found allowed us to help choose where we are going next. Our next step is to make action plans, which we are currently working on. These documents will be our guidelines for the rest of our project. Our team has three big goals that we want to accomplish by January. Our first goal is to send out emails and conduct interviews. We need to send out emails to make sure that we can meet with the teachers during a time that works best for both us and them. We also need to interview other teachers to make sure that we can have information to showcase on our podcast. Our second goal is to read necessary books that we would like to advertise in our podcast. We were thinking of advertising a book that is able to connect with the monthly celebration. For example, in February it is black history month, so we would find a book that connects with that topic. Our final goal is to finalize how to share and promote our podcast to the Pleasant Valley community. We need to find a way that everyone can listen to it to show how to become a better community.
